Platinum Panther broke through for his first win at geelong on boxing day. He had previously ran 2nd on five occasions and certainly deserved his win. Linda Meech settled the grey son of danerich just behind the leaders and he swept to the lead at the top of the straight. He held off a fast finishing Saint Chloe to win by a head. Congratulations to the 'Boys from the hill' syndicate managed by Kelvin Shelley who have been very patient owners.
