The Holy Heart show continued his home track when the revelation posted his fourth straight win when successful in the Invicium Print Handicap (1200m) on the Geelong Synthetic circuit.
Holy Heart could lay claim to the title of one of the most improved gallopers in the state since joining the Vin Malady stable.
The gelding won at Rating 58 level at his first run for the stable on September 9 before notching wins at Ararat and Horsham prior his home track debut at Geelong.
Jordan Childs replaced his fellow apprentice Josh Cartwright aboard Holy Heart for the Benchmark 72 event. Childs produced a neat piece of riding to find the front on Holy Heart without spending too much energy early.
Holy Heart travelled kindly for Childs, who had no issue with the gelding racing one horse off the fence, for the first 800 metres before he asked his mount to quicken early in the straight.
Holy Heart opened a 1-1/2 length gap on his opposition at the 200 metres before comfortably holding the margin to the finish with only moderate urging from his young jockey.
The son of Holy Roman Emperor appeared to have something in reserve as he recorded his fourth win from five starts for Vin Malady.
Holy Heart earned $18,000 for his connections for his Showcase success, taking his prizemoney to $45,000 for his owners in his first preparation for the Geelong stable.
